Bees

What do we know about bees?

They give us honey, yes.

If there are no images whatsoever attached here, what would the mind allude to very naturally? Honeycomb structure, benzene rings, bears., etc

What else? Bees make that sound. Buzzzzzz.

What is to be inferred from the image is inconsequential and may not have relevance to what is to be discussed here. But, don't you think that sometimes we think too much and feel too little? Constantly drawing up boundaries, determining the outcomes, and constantly finding ourselves in the path leading to the rat trap.

Okay, right back to the topic now.

Bees have been in existence for longer than our minds can accept. They are instrumental in stimulating and conserving the biodiversity of a specific geological location. Not going into the minutiae, we can still learn a lot from their behavior.

Maybe we are at a stage now where civilization is at the peak, and we are consistently mastering how to stay ahead in the food chain. Yeah, we are becoming savvier each day; give a pat on your back.

They seem particularly aware of their locality, and they have a special relationship with the surroundings. We all have come across several different types of honey. Different types of honey are gathered from different types of bees in different places, relying heavily on that region's flora.

The place's ecological balance depends on the integrity of the relationship between the bees and the flowers.

…….Spring came early to the forest, the animals came out of their homes, and birds sang the tunes merrily. The colors of the leaves changed, causing the lazy chameleons to modify accordingly to the surroundings. Small birds built nests for temporary purposes — now, with resources aplenty, they indulged in remodeling.

Other than exceptional cases, the order remained the same — it is always budding, blooming of flowers, and fruits started to appear after a while. Birds and apes relied on the fruits; intelligently, they gathered and stored them for winter. Now with the onset of spring, all of them seemed jubilant, expecting fresh produce.

There is absolutely no common language of the forest for them to converse in a language. So the communication between all the inhabitants is predominantly through what they do. It constantly got refined and fine-tuned to the point that all were inadvertently acting like the cogs of a well-oiled machine.

The bees were the hardest working in the lot. The birds understood their co-dependence with the bees and offered them the finest location on the tree, and stood guard against other small insects coming for the honey. Birds got their snacks and, in return, got amazing smelling flowers.

Causality —Causality is influence by which one event, process, state or object contributes to the production of another event, process, state or object where the cause is partly responsible for the effect, and the effect is partly dependent on the cause.

So, what happens when they disappear from the face of the earth?

The flowers fall off, and there are no more new fruits, no new trees, and the sustenance of all other animals is doubtful.

When such small organisms like the bees have this much of tremendous importance, then you do too!

We all fit into the big puzzle one way or the other.
